Registration

The Lake Apopka Birding Festival has no registration fee and is highly affordable!

 

All trip and keynote speaker/dinner fees are donations to Orange Audubon Society (OAS) toward OAS’ Nature and Environmental Education Center fund.

 

Trip donations are

  • $50 for all day trips, lunch included
  • $30 for morning half-day trips, lunch included
  • $20 for afternoon half-day trips, lunch not included
  • $20 for Friday and Saturday keynotes, with meet-and-greet snacks and dinner included

 

To Register

Step 1 - Figure out which events interest you

First look over the At a Glance Schedule (downloadable as a pdf) under the Schedule tab.

 

Under the Schedule tab are details about the Field Trip Locations, Donations, and the Anticipated Bird Sightings for each trip. You can download the birding-festival_-trip-details.pdf .

Step 2 - With credit card in hand, go to the registration site

To register, you will go to an external link (SignUp Genius).  To get back to this website use the back button or History tab on your browser.

 

On the SignUp Genius site,  go to new member registration, and simply enter your name and email address and create a password.

 

Payment can be made using a credit card or an existing PayPal account. You will receive an email from SignUp Genius stating that you have successfully registered.

 

If you choose to pay by check, please first email festival@orangeaudubonfl.org indicating which events you have selected, their individual prices, and the total due. Then mail your check to: Orange Audubon Society/Birding Festival, P.O. Box 941142, Maitland, FL 32794-1142. You will receive a emailed confirmation when your check has been received. Deadine for mailed checks is January 10, 2018 .

 

NEW DEADLINE: Online registration closes midnight January 18, 2018.

FRIDAY Keynote reservations are accepted until midnight Wednesday January 17th.

SATURDAY Keynote reservations are accepted until midnight Thursday January 18th.

 

Step 3 -Book your lodging

Be sure to book your lodging early, since winter is "High Season" in Florida. Hotel and camping information is on the Locations & Lodging tab.
